Live Cooking Demo with Marie Brennan

Wednesday, October 19th, 2022

7pm EST

We’ve all been there. You start off the week with a shopping basket full of greens and idealism shining in your eyes. This week there will be lots of salads and definitely no

late night ice cream or potato chips. Your meals will absolutely be indistinguishable from Martha Stewart’s Instagram posts.

Then reality hits. More homework than you anticipated. A noisy neighbor interrupted your sleep. Oh, of course you wouldn’t mind squeezing another team meeting in. No problem at all.

Our environments can be wild cards but that doesn’t have to extend to what we put in our bodies. We know that we should eat more vegetables and fruits. We know that we should eat less sugar, packaged and fast food. However, when stressed and hungry our decision making prowess tends to wane. Setting yourself up with a pantry of nutrient dense snacks and ingredients at the beginning of the week sets you up for success. When hunger pangs strike you can reach for lovingly prepared foods that nourish and satisfy.

You will walk away from this fun and interactive class with 3 easy recipes that will make you feel good and taste even better. Students will have the option to cook along, virtually, with the instructor or simply sit back and watch. We will have time for Q&A at the end so make sure to bring any burning food and nutrition questions you may have.
